She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Raymond Thompson and Mary Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Rev. David Hobert; her children, Ryan Hobert (Carrie Dorean), Julie Haddad (Rodrigo) of Sousa and Emilie Hobert (David Schwan); her grandchildren, Adelaide, Elsa, Emmanuel and Nicholas; and her siblings, Judy Rae Firebaugh (Glenn), Alice Kinley (Ron), Janice Workman (Mark), Paul Thompson (Kandace) and Donnie Thompson (Dale).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Winona Lake Grace Church (1200 Kings Hwy, Winona Lake, IN 46590). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
