She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Willard and Ella Marie Petersen Hansen; her spouse Wendel Ray Shank; her children, Susan Hight (Tom) of Warsaw and David Shank (Andrea) of Hersey, Michigan; her grandchildren, Jonathan Shank (Stephanie) of Westminster, Colorado, Stephen Shank of Aurora, Colorado, Stephanie Pierce (Jake) of Comstock Park, Michigan and Melissa Shank of Hersey, Michigan; her great grandchild Kira Pierce; her sister Peggy Johnson of Wheaton; and her granddaughter Sarah Anne Shank.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greencroft Goshen Foundation, Goshen First Baptist Church or Grace Village Retirement Community.
