He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Henry and Harriett Helen Hinds (Emehiser); and his siblings, Sherry Gasho, Emalie Bowlby, David Hinds, Karen Kilfoil and George Hinds.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie Jane "Janie" VanHorn; his daughter Andee Sznewajs (Matt) of Edina, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Sophia, Will and Ben; and his brother-in-law Dick Bowlby. He is also survived by his wife, daughter and grandchildren.
