It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen McCorkle of Windfall, Indiana, born in Tipton, Indiana, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Grace Anna McCorkle (Reed); and his siblings, David McCorkle, Fred McCorkle, Charles McCorkle, Jr., Betty Vanhorn and Phyllis Applanalp.
He is survived by: his son Shad McCorkle; his sisters, Ann Wyle (Steve Sharp) and Kathryn Ellis; his grandchildren, Evan McCorkle, Collin McCorkle and Layla McCorkle; his great grandchild Liam McCorkle; and his pet Tia.
