He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Sr. and Wilma L. Howard; his grandparents, William and Fay Howard; and his brothers, Lee Howard and Denney Howard.

He is survived by: his children, Tami Sears (Wayne), Spencer Howard (Morgan), Mandi Thompson (James) and Kaylee Howard; his sister Laura Hazelett (David); and his nephews, Jason Hazelett (Tiina) and Jeff Hazelett. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters.
