With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J Smiley (Winchester, Indiana), who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Smiley (Castle) and Gerald Smiley; his wife Jennetta Smiley (Addington); his brother David Smiley; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Green, James Bake, Frank Addington, Bill Addington, Phyllis Smiley and Diane Smiley.
He is survived by: his daughter Saralee Garringer (Dean) of Saratoga; his grandchildren, Erika Amador of Anderson and Justin Garringer (Candice) of Winchester; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lucas Amador, Logan and Azlynn Garringer; his siblings, Martha Bake, Paul Smiley, Stan Smiley (Connie) and John Smiley (Karon); his sister-in-law Ann Addington; and his close friend Bruce Swanagan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
