He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Retter and Sarah Retter (Garringer); his sister JoAnn Garner; and his son Brent Lee. He is survived by: his wife Shirly; his children, Kathy Osborne (Craig) of Liberty, IN, Karen Harris of Cambridge City, IN, Marc Retter (Tanya) of VanWert, OH and Kevin Retter of Richmond, IN; his stepchildren, Penny (Brad), Robin (Tom), Larry (Sam) and Laura (Will); and his grandchild Gabriel.
