With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Allen McCord (Winchester, Indiana), born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer McCord and Mary Beulah McCord (Sims); his former wife Beverly Sue McClish; and his siblings, Alfred, Melvin, Duane, Robert, Darrell, Orville, Ronnie, Benny, Lavina Bogue and Frieda Frey.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Whyde McCord (Vance); his children, Emma Gayle Collins of Winchester, Beverly McCord-Thornburg of Winchester, Stacey Woodbury (Dave) of Union City, Jackie Price (Kelly McCoy) of Winchester, Danielle Bane (Doug) of Lynn, Nicky Fields (Jeff) of Farmland, Joseph Adam McCord of Ridgeville and Joshua Allen McCord of Winchester; his stepchildren, Cassie Renee Whyde and Dylan Cole Whyde; and his siblings, Danny McCord (Margi) of Farmland, Leon McCord (Joyce) of Ridgeville, Monty McCord (Vickie) of Ridgeville and Evelyn Rutledge (Jim) of Farmland. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
