He was predeceased by: his parents, James Melton and Bessie Melton (Sidwell); and his siblings, Jim Melton and Phyllis Mock. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Melton (Swabb); his son Jim Melton (Angie); and his grandsons, Marcus, Mason and Marshall Melton.
