He was predeceased by: his parents, Hagan Lawson Sr. and Bernice Lawson; his siblings, Herman Lawson, Jimmy Ricky Lawson and Bette Glidewell; and his grandson Alex Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lawson; his children, David (Tonya Lawson), Nick Lawson and Stephanie Lawson; his grandchildren, Justin Speed, Katie Webb (Corey), Riley Bowmer, Hagan Lawson III, Sarah Bowmer and Connor Lawson; and his nephew Lee Glidewell. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
