She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Lamb and Thelma Lamb (Manning); her son Allen Smith; and her siblings, Betty Herron and John Lamb.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Smith (Maria) of Texas, Brian Brown (Amanda) of Anderson and Jill Hermenet of New Castle; and her sisters, Nell Comer of Greenville, OH and Ada Slick of Union City. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
