It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Melvin Fields of Winchester, Indiana, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fields and Ireva Fields (Couch); and his grandson Vince Wiley. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Fields; his daughters, Deeon Vance (Joan Ashley), Donnetta Hernly (Tim), Lisa Laudenbacher (Mark) and Diane Hill (Danny); and his siblings, Ron Fields (Kathie), David Fields (Cynthia) and Jennifer Botkin (Doug). He is also survived by several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Don's name can be made to the DAV – Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
