He was predeceased by: his parents, V. R. Williams Sr. and Geneva Williams; his parents-in-law, Francis and Mary Simpson; and his granddaughter Annelise Mary Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Williams; his daughter Susan Leland (Craig T.); his grandchildren, Angie Hayden (John), Megan Prichard (Ricky), Elizabeth Martin (Craig) and Kevin Leland (Kristen); his son Dr. Robert S. Williams (Mary Ann); his grandchildren, Andrew Williams, Dr. Rachael Garrett (Josh), Andrew Randell and Matthew Randell; his son Dr. John R. Williams (Jani); his grandchildren, Maricarol Phipps (Michael), Marcia Frame (Tyler), Matt Williams (Ali) and Maggie Williams (Michael); his daughter Katie Baker (Williams); and his grandsons, Scott Baker (Emily) and Alec Baker. He is also survived by his four children, twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
