She was predeceased by: her parents, D. Cedrick Amburn and Elma Jean Amburn (Cougill); her husband Donald Cassell; her daughter Deborah Ulmer; and her sister Sherrill Bond.
She is survived by: her son Michael Douglass; and her sisters, Linda Harper and Jacque Burelison. She is also survived by two grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
