She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Alberts Jr. and Shirley Alberts (Schroeder); her husband Robert Rife; her parents-in-law, JB, Gloria Rife and Joyce Rife; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth and Dale Hiatt.
She is survived by: her children, Hillary Pine (Chris) of Winamac and Adam Rife of Carmel; her sisters, Linda Gleitz of Plymouth and Crissie (Jan Garrison); her siblings-in-law, Jeff (Dawn Rife) and Karen Sommers of Monticello; her nieces and nephews, PJ, Chris Brucker of Winamac, Lynn, Todd Edgell of Monticello, Lance, Becky Hiatt of Jacksonville, Cameron Garrison of Lynchburg, Virginia, Samantha, Eric Wagner of Rushville, Cory, Danielle Gleitz of Plymouth, Morgan Garrison of Plymouth, Andrew, Tina Gleitz of Aurora, Sierra, Colby Wood of Winamac and Keely Garrison of Plymouth; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Leland Hiatt, Alexandra Edgell, Payden Edgell, Paisely Bonnell, Baylor Wood, Lillian Wagner, Huxley Wood, Talia Gleitz and Grant Wagner.
A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Winamac Chapel (110 N Sally Dr, Winamac, IN 46996). Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (401 N Monticello St, Winamac, IN 46996).
