He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kasten and Velma Kasten (Dommer); his granddaughter Tabetha Nush; and his brother William Kasten (Deb). He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Kasten of Rensselaer, Indiana.; his children, Otto L. Kasten (Tammy) of Francesville, Vonda K. Nush (Ken) of San Pierre and Tina S. Baca (Santiago) of Winamac; his grandchildren, Seth Kasten (Heather), Tara Wrin (Justin), Cole Hendryx, Quest Fritz, Merissa Fritz, Tyler Nush, Ryan Nush, Andrew Kasten, Alana Kasten, Dolores Dennis (Willie), Chago Vaca and Kassandra Vaca; and his brothers, Eugene Kasten (Sherry) of Spooner and Fred Kasten (Jeanette) of Francesville.
