He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Dehnart and Dorothy Dehnart (Matthews); his wife Roberta May Rambo-Dehnart; his children, Bobbi Williamson of Carrollton, TX, Davon Doty of Winamac, IN, Rebecca Despot of Monterey, IN, Louis Rugg (Guy) of Winamac, IN, Timothy Dehnart of Hoffman Estates, IL, Richard Rugg, Justin Dehnart of Francisville, IN, Paul Dehnart (Allison) of Westville, IN, Mark Dehnart of Porter, IN and Jessica Jacob of Hebron, IN; his siblings, Renee Rakoczy, Chris Dehnart, Vicki Jacob, Greg Dehnart and Lynette Dehnart; and his former wife Donna Dehnart (Brickner). He was also cherished by his 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
