He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mitchell and Irene Mitchell (Pletka). He is survived by: his children, Jay Huff (Ann) of Macy, Joni Herring of Indianapolis, Jeffery Mitchel, Jr. (Tasha) of Star City and Keith Mitchell of Rochester; his siblings, Raymond "Jinx" Mitchell (Sue) of Kewanna, Betty Staller (George) of Twelve Mile, Laura Mitchell (Winamac) and Cindy Gudas (Albert) of Winamac; his grandchildren, Katelin, Cara, Alex Popejoy, Austin Handy, Taylor Bean, Dakota Huff, Milo Perry, Olivia Huff, Max Huff and Wren Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Shae Russo and Nova Bean.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Winamac Chapel (110 N Sally Dr, Winamac, IN 46996).
