He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dibbern and Isabel Dibbern (Mortimer). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dibbern of Winamac; his children, Gary Dibbern (Susanne) of Wheaton and Victoria McIntyre of Lombard; his brother Donald Dibbern of Willowbrook; his grandchildren, Amy Primeau (Carey) of Crystal Lake, Jessica Foust (Bradley) of Wheaton, Patrick McIntyre of Columbus, Christopher McIntyre of Lombard and Jason Dibbern (Matthew Ritter) of Wheaton, Illinois.; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Josephine, Logan and Miles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Winamac Lions Club.
