He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Fritz and Hazel Fritz (Earhart); his wife Phyllis Nelson; his grandson Alex Bathke; his great grandchild Cooper Ryser; and his siblings, Harold, Lewis, Robert and Thelma Wantola.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Clark (Ed), Pattie Egbert (Eddie), Fred Fritz (Sheryl), Doug Fritz (Brenda), Tom Fritz (Lila), Sandy Bathke (Doug) and Tim Fritz (Paige). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 1 + great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for the church.
