Sue Ellen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oral Gayler and Evelyn Gayler; and her sister Leanne Borkovitz. She is survived by: her husband Richard Dobbels; her children, Brenda Layton (John) of Lafayette, Marci Emery (Rick) of Lafayette, Todd Dobbels (Chris Bowman) of Lafayette and Alicia Clevenger (Jeff) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Carrie Kennedy (Adam), RJ Layton (Anna) of St. Louis, MO. and Jacob Butler of Lafayette, IN; her great grandchildren, Jared, Lauren, Olivia and Cooper Kennedy; and her pets, Dinah, Lucy and Shadow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Williamsport Public Library, a place where Sue found great joy and purpose in her later years.
