He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Elwood and Doris Eileen Ransom (Adams). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Miller; his children, Cassie and Jim Ransom; his grandchildren, Ashley Simonton (Brennen), Class Petty Officer, Codey Jasper, Navy, Emma and Kloey Ransom; his great grandchildren, Lily, Laken and Logan; his siblings, Charlene Dillman (Joe), Mark Ransom (Diane), John Ransom (Joyce) and Terry; and his uncle Terry Ransom (Carolyn).
