He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Smyth and Juanita S. Smyth (Gittings); and his brother Jack Miller. He is survived by: his wife A. Gretchen Finney; his sons, Charles Smyth (Ann) of Greenfield, IN, David Smyth (Cindy) and Steven Smyth (Shannon); his grandchildren, Renee Hirsch (Alex), Lindsey Smyth (Abby), Christopher, Nathan Smyth, Austin Smyth (Delainey) and Owen Smyth; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn of Layla, C. J., Wren, Sutton and Nolan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica-Williamsport Evangelical Presbyterian Church organ fund.
