He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Walters and Ethel M. Walters (Harris); and his siblings, Wiley, Rex, Jack, Robert, Harold, Georgie Matlock and Dorothy Cleaments.
He is survived by: his wife Ella; his sons, John Walters (Paula) of Terre Haute, Tim Walters (Lois), Otterbein Walters and Ronald Walters; and his sister Annetta Lindsay of Greencastle, IN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
