We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2022, at the age of 81, Monte Ray Sawyer of Williamsport, Indiana, born in Danville, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Monte Ray Sawyer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sawyer and Wilda Sawyer (Van Allen); and his close friend Jim Foley. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jean Haun; his children, Nikki Sawyer (Kenny Wait) of Williamsport, Marcie Bostwick (Patrick) of Bismarck and Matthew Sawyer of Catlin; his grandson Devin Sawyer of Williamsport; his sisters, Karen Williams of Oakwood and Diana Haggerty (Tim) of Bowling Green, KY; his niece Kelli Williams of Zionsville, IN; his nephew Brandon Verhoeven of Owensboro, TN; his uncle Clifford Sawyer (Judy) of Georgetown; and his friends, Cliff Wynn, Steve Clark and Bill Coonce. He is also survived by many other friends and family.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
