She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Eugene and Eleanor Bernice Hamilton (Ault); her husband Donald DeWayne Sewell; her brother Denny Hamilton; and her brother-in-law Glen "Beano" Sewell.

She is survived by: her children, Cindi Askren (Bill) of Attica, IN, Darin Sewell of Lebanon, IN, Lori Sichts (Mike) of Attica, IN and Mike "Pete" Sewell (Brigitte) of Williamsport, IN; her sister-in-law Mitzi Hamilton Hogan of Rome City, IN; and her nieces and nephews, Glen Sewell, Gary Sewell, Denny Hamilton, Vicki Sewell Chavis and Brooke Hamilton Cain.
