He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Dick" Jr. and Paralee Fox Martin; and his siblings, Joan Donovan, Sharon Parrish and Jerald Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Branstetter Martin; his children, Mary (Mark Kendall), Marla (Scott Raines), Lisa (Daniel Schwegman), Lee (Deanna Martin), Jason Martin, Ron (Christine Martin) and Ken (Mary Martin); and his siblings, Pam Sowers, Bill Martin, Mike Martin and Tony Martin. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren plus 1 more on the way, 1 great-great-grandson.
