He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry J. Sheffer and Virgie Winkler Sheffer; his wife Lucy Preston; his son Drew Sheffer; his grandson Brandon Sheffer; his great grandchildren, Seth Sheffer, Shelby Sheffer, Gwyneth Sheffer and Hayden Sheffer; his brother Maurice Sheffer; his close friend Janice Shute; his daughter-in-law Larinda Sheffer; and his sisters, Marjorie Stevens and Phyllis McClain. He was also cherished by several nieces & nephews.
