He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Kirkman Scofield; his stepfather Delford Scofield; his siblings, Alice White, Flora Evelyn Sink Hogston, Lucille Shields, Esther Kirkman, Chester, John, Dick, Kenneth, Everett, Leroy, Franklin and Elmer Eugene Kirkman; and his half-brother Frank Scofield.
He is survived by: his children, Greg and Vicki; his wife Patty Kirkman; his children-in-law, Glen Griffin and Teresa Kirkman; his grandchildren, Megan Kirkman (Clay Young) and Brandon Kirkman (Amanda); his great grandchild Liam Kirkman; his sister Violet Hall; his half-sister Lisa Lambdin; and his brothers, Joe Kirkman and Charles Kirkman.
