She was predeceased by: her parents, R. C. and Norma Louise (Neely); and her siblings, Shirley Flynn (Anthony) of Washington and Roger Phillips of Bedford. She is survived by: her close friend Charles Byrd (Pickle); her significant other Charles Wesley Byrd of Williams; her children, Dustin and Tela Weldon; and her siblings, Donnie Phillips of Bedford and Lou Phillips of Bedford.
