He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth A. Kern and Maeda Kern (Spreen); his wife Candice "Candy" K. Doub; his son Stacey Kern; and his brother Ed Kern.
He is survived by: his son Cory Kern of Williams; his grandchildren, Eli Kern, Kelsey Kendall and Stacia Kern; his great grandchild Kayson; his nephews, David and Kenny Kern; his great-nephews, Peyton and Eli Kern; his great-niece Kenna Kern; his brother Roe Kern; and his sister-in-law Sheila Kern.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bryantsville Church of Christ (157 Bryantsville Rd, Mitchell, IN 47446).
