She was predeceased by: her husband Palmer Hickerson; her parents, George Rider and Ora Rider (Fleenor); her siblings, Kenneth, Lloyd Rider and Marjorie Rider; and her great grandchild Justin "Peanut" Locker.
She is survived by: her sons, Timmy Hickerson (Tami) and Danny Hickerson; and her grandchildren, Amanda Locker (Rusty), Brandon Hickerson, Emily Fletcher (Aaron), Eli Hickerson and Christina Ballard (Tyler). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
