He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lynn and Sharon Ann Mattingly, Sr. (Seawert). He is survived by: his close friends, Felicia J. Mattingly (Sedam) and Valerie T. Mitchell; his sons, David Lynn Mattingly, III and Kaidon Alexander Mattingly; his stepmother Gwen Mattingly; his siblings, Robert Mattingly, Elizabeth Mattingly, Angela Lindblom, Ronnie Glass and Opie Glass; and his aunt Donna George. He is also survived by several nieces and several nephews.
