He is survived by: his sister Patricia Matej; his siblings-in-law, Michael Arnold (Deborah), Andrea Arnold and Peggy Arnold; his brother John Robert Puplava; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Matej and Richard Arnold; and also, Robert Arnold and Jean Arnold. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Tom has asked that, in lieu of flowers, his legacy be remembered with donations to Forever Blue and Gold (St. John's alumni association).
