She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Savage; her siblings, Thomas, Joseph, Arthur, John, Andrej Smolen, Ann Skertich, Mary Gronke, Elizabeth Caruso, Catherine Latronico, Bernadina Smolen and Bernadine Smolen; and her parents, Thomas Smolen and Maria Smolen.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Cole (late Dennis), Darlene Nejak (late George), Richard (Denise), Tyrone and Donald Savage; her grandchildren, Christy Trevino (Rudy), Nicole Hutter (Chris), Rick Savage (Gina), Jenni Dietlin (Blake), Jeff Cole, Danielle Feil (Kurtis), Daniel Nejak and Chelsi Savage; her great grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Raegan, Graham, Reese, Tyler and Jackson; her sister Millie Mosca (late Fred); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Smolen, Elaine Smolen, Dolly Riota and Dorothy Fiala. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting or to the Whiting Food Pantry would be appreciated.
