It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Gonzales Sr. of Whiting, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Edward Gonzales. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Amy Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Jr. (Laura Patino), Austin Mendez, Joseph Garcia (Jessica), Michelle McCloskey (Ryan) and Katie Cooper (Jerome Dale); his mother Cecilia Cardenas Gonzales; his siblings, Edward (Mary Jo), Rudy, Henry (Debbie), John Gonzales and Elizabeth Eddings (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Christine List (Marshall) and Gerrie Witt (Dave). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
