He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Danko (Bednar); his siblings, Andrew, William Danko, Margaret Gray and Sophie Bzibziak; and his parents, Paul Danko and Krestine Danko (Chernota).
He is survived by: his children, Christine Danko, Michael Danko (Lynn), Joanne Gorski (John) and Mary Lynn Hasik (late Joseph); and his grandchildren, Brittany Jarrett (Kiley), Sarah Hasik, Jacob Hasik and Thomas Gorski.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Baran Funeral Home (1235 119th St, Whiting, IN 46394). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1849 Lincoln Ave, Whiting, IN 46394).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Whiting "Gimmer Shelter" (for pets), P.O. Box 591, Whiting, IN 46394, would be appreciated.
