It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramona Lachanski (Whiting, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sibling Henry. She is survived by: her children, Michael Lachanski, Phillip Lachanski (Gillian) and Laura Hruskocy (Mark); her grandchildren, Aimee Fausto (Robert), John Hruskocy, Lindsey Lachanski (Seda), Michael Lachanski and Caroline Lachanski; her great grandchildren, Timothy, Brian, Mark, Peyton, Keri and Brooke; her siblings, Eileen Manno (late Richard), Doty and Emil; and her parents, Henry Surber and Malvina Surber. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting " Gimme Shelter" (for pets) or to the 2nd Chance for Pets Network, Whiting, would be appreciated.
