He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Austin and Mary Catherine McCartin (Mullen); and his brother Eugene McCartin. He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph McCartin (Suzanne), Catherine Goodale (Keith), Michael McCartin, Mary Murphy (Matthew) and John McCartin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
