He was predeceased by: his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Latta-Fan; his children, Michael, Meghan and Jarrett; his parents, Ming Fat and Sau Ying Fan; his siblings, Peter Fan, Rebecca and David Fan; his niece Olivia Bebe Hok; and his parents-in-law, Roger and Brenda Hopkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and his canine companion.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 12 noon to 4:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, IN; cremation to follow. (Due to the current health situation, face masks must be worn and social distancing is expected).
