She is survived by: her children, Magdalena Sanchez of Whiting, IN, Gilberto Garcia (Sylvia) of Santa Fe, NM, Fernando Garcia of Thornton, CO, Isabel Valentine (Angel) of Homosassa, FL, Amanda Acosta (Joe) of San Antonio, TX, Claudio Gonzalez (Theresa) of Denver, CO, Celzo Gonzalez of Lakewood, CO, Juan Gonzalez (Avenelle) of Rio Rancho, NM, Diego Gonzalez (Sharon) of Whiting, IN and Enrique Gonzalez (Sandy) of Munster, IN; and her daughter-in-law Judy Johnson. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home (4201 W Ridge Rd, Gary, IN 46408). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
