She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Vasilak; and her parents, John Karasinsky and Mary Karasinsky. She is survived by: her children, Robert Vasilak (Joan), Daniel Vasilak (Antoinette) and Carol Vasilak Dubrovin; her grandchildren, Neal Vasilak (Emma), Karen Vasilak, Casey Hruskovich (Cole), Katelyn and Kevin Dubrovin; and her great grandchild Chase Roger Hruskovich.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Baran Funeral Home (1235 119th St, Whiting, IN 46394). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1849 Lincoln Ave, Whiting, IN 46394).
