He was predeceased by: his sibling Shirley Jones. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Chism (Andrew) and John Garreffa (Kinsey); his significant other Beverly Talabay; his siblings, Carol Palla (Linda), Linda Garreffa, Doug (Teresa), Edward, David Garreffa and Chuck Garreffa; his parents, Charlie Garreffa and Virginia Garreffa (Brzinski); and also Pfc Zachary Huber-Tomlinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
