He was predeceased by: his child Baby J; his siblings, Olga Morando, Joaquin Morando, Jr. (late Bonnie), Paul Morando, David Morando (Kim) and Victoria Miles (Jim); and his parents, Joaquin Morando and Mary Morando (Gonzales).
He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Jennifer (Kevin), Samantha (James III), Sara, Elizabeth (Tony) and Jesse James III; his grandchildren, Kali Rose, James IV and Jaslyn; his sisters, Elena Janowski (Ken), Mary Mecklin (Ted), Dolores Edwards (late Steve) and Frances Tigner; his sister-in-law Louise Jezuit (late Ronald); and his goddaughter Nikki Morando.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to be sent to the Whiting High School Marching Band, 1751 Oliver St., Whiting, IN 46394, would be appreciated.
