He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Carpen and Geraldine Carpen (Brenkus); his brother Michael Carpen, Sr. (Susan); his nephews, Albert, Michael, Jr. and Jonathan Carpen; and his friend Rachel Castillo. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles and cousins.
