She was predeceased by: her grandson Zachary James Gazafy; her sister Nancy Gormley (Stephen); and her parents, Albert Kurella and Florence Kurella (Pramuk). She is survived by: her husband Donald; her children, Susan Willett (Christopher), James and Lawrence Gazafy (Gloria); her stepdaughter Tiffany Lulofs (Edward); her grandchildren, Kendra (Nathan), L. J., Emily Wegner (Tyler), Brianna and Justin; and her siblings, Thomas Kurella, Margaret Tierney (Neal), Linda Okamura (Lawrence), Diane Slusarczyk (late Tony) and Laura Kurella (Richard Taylor). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to send memorials consider the St. John Church Steeple Restoration Fund, 2x2 Rescue, or Feline Community Network.
