He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Louise Wilkerson; his parents, James W. Wilkerson and Helen E. Gyure; his brother Larry Wilkerson; and his nephew James McGowen.
He is survived by: his son Tim Wilkerson (Cheryl); his grandson Allen Polkinghorn; his brother-in-law Donald Abercrombie (Cathy); his nephew Marc Abercrombie; and his nieces, Erin Dorche (Luke) and Dawn Brim.
