We bid farewell to James Vargo of Whiting, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 1, 2024 at the age of 74. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Vargo and Mary Vargo (Paunicka). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Daniel (Rosemary), Michael (Rachel), Brian and Jimmy Vargo; his grandchildren, Zachary, Camila, Caleb and Brayden; his siblings, Steve "Joe" Vargo (Jeannette), Bob, Marian, Edward Vargo, Lynn Koscielski (Greg), Jerry Vargo (Corinne) and John Vargo (late Ruth); and his siblings-in-law, David Canner, Tom Canner (Cindy), Michael Canner (Nola), Cheryl Clark (Robert), Jeff Canner (Alex), Greg Canner (Sylvia) and Mark Canner (SueEllen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his furry companion.
