Glenn A. Slater Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2021, at the age of 67, Glenn A. Slater of Whiting, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Donna Slater; and his parents, Glendon Slater and Dolores Slater. He is survived by: his daughters, Suzette Slater (Kevin Zatorski) and Dolores Slater-Lingvay (Will); his grandson Vincent Allen Lingvay; his stepchildren, Danny Prodanic, Mike Prodanic and Donna Prodanic; his stepgrandchildren, Thomas, Mike, Robert and Alexandria; his siblings, Shirley Slater and Linda Lynch (John); and his niece Marie Irving. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Glenn's life will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 6:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, IN; cremation to follow; visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00pm to time of services. (Due to the current health situation, face masks must be worn and social distancing is expected).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project, would be appreciated.
