It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgette M. Blackwell of Whiting, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jerry; her children, Dave Blackwell (Laura) and Lori Bazelewski (John); her grandchildren, Amanda Serrato (Nick), Brianna McGuire (Brian), Courtney Blackwell and Autumn Bazelewski; her great grandchild Kannon McGuire; her siblings, Linda Glenn (late Walter) and Ronald Hauser (Diana); and her parents, Charles Hauser and Marie Hauser. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
